Submetering by Minol is a systematic approach to accurately bill utility costs directly back to the consumer. Consumers are billed monthly for their usage and property owners are promptly reimbursed for their utility expenses. In instances when submetering is impractical due to the utility configuration, Minol can implement a general allocation billing system commonly known as RUBS, which also promotes conservation, but to a lesser degree than submetering. When properly coordinated, this program provides consumers billing based on a ratio formula such as unit square footage, number of rooms, occupancy, etc.
